All Divine Services are celebrated according to the Old (Julian) Calendar. The Vigil for a Feast is celebrated the night before the Feast day. For example, the Vigil for the Feast of the Universal Exaltation of the Precious and Life-giving Cross on September 14th (September 27th on the civil calendar) is celebrated the evening of September 13th (September 26th on the civil calendar).
